I'd like to send one to a friend who lost their pet.

That's a kind thing to do. Choose “Start a sympathy gift” on the Memorial page (or turn on “It's a sympathy gift” when you choose the size), then enter their address at checkout. We ship it straight to them, every email comes to you, and we send you a printable card with your note.

I don't have a great photo of their pet. What now?

A clear phone photo where the face is easy to see is all we need. Many gift-givers use one from a shared album or social media. If it won't work, the preview tells you right away, for free.

Can you include their name and years?

Yes. Add their name, years and an optional short line like “Forever in our hearts.” We typeset it carefully and check the spelling with you on the proof.

Can you paint them somewhere they loved, or with a favorite toy?

Yes. Before you add their photo, we gently ask where they were happiest and whether there was something they loved, like a ball or a blanket. We paint them there, with it beside them, and you can describe a place in your own words too. You'll see it all in your free preview.

Do I really see my own pet before I pay?

Yes. Upload a photo, add your email, and we'll show you a free, watermarked preview of your pet in the style you picked, usually in under a minute (we email you a copy too). You only pay if you love where it's going.

What if the final portrait doesn't look like my pet?

You see a final proof before anything is printed: approve it or ask for changes, free (up to 3 rounds). If we don't hear back within 48 hours, we print it as shown. A real person on our team checks every portrait for likeness, markings and spelling before you see it.

How is the art made?

Portraits are digitally created with AI-assisted tools from your photo, then reviewed and finished by our team. We don't claim they're hand-painted — we do promise they look like your pet.
